Tarnia Gracie

I graduated from Winchester School of Art in 2010. My work ranges in mediums as I like not to let the medium control the outcome but for the idea to decide the medium. Often starting in drawing and painting and leading to sculpture, installation and video, I enjoy finding the boundaries between categories of art, as this for me is where things become exciting. My work in its basic form deals with the mind and how the individual uses and reacts to it. I am interested in people, situations, make-believe scenarios, conversations and reactions, the lack of pre-conceived ideas in children, the unknown and controlled isolation.
